Located on the boundary of two provinces and one autonomous region: Guizhou, Guangxi and Yunnan, Luoping has always enjoyed a good fame of “Lock and Key of Yunnan and Guizhou”, “East Door of Yunnan”, and “Bordering Three Provinces”. The beautiful mountain and river sceneries, primitive and intense Buyi folklores, the globally largest rape flower sea, the largest waterfall cluster, the largest waterwheel museum, and the carst peaks of various forms here become a brand new highlight and brand of the fine tour in the boundary of Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi. In order to further create Luoping tour brand and display the new image of Luoping tourism, Yunnan Tourism Bureau, Qujing City People’s Government, and Yunnan Photographers Association decide to jointly hold “2008’ Yunnan Luoping “Rape Flower Cup” Tourism Photography Competition ” . The detail rules for the competition are as follows: I. Awards One gold award, award money RMB 10,000, one trophy and one certificate Two sliver awards, award money RMB 5,000, one trophy and one certificate respectively 3 bronze awards, award money RMB 2,000, one trophy and one certificate respectively 20 excellent awards, award money RMB 500, one certificate respectively 100 memorial awards, award money RMB 100 and one certificate respectively Remark: The organizing committee will deduct the individual income tax from the award money and pay the tax on behalf of the award winner.

Participants 1. Domestic and overseas photographers and photographing lovers may all take part in the competition. 2. All the participants are required to fill in the competition registration form (download from the designated website), fill in the personal data and detailed description about the work according to requirements, and assume the corresponding legal responsibilities for the content filled in. 3. The organizing committee shall have right to use the awarded works for publication, exhibition, special movie & TV program, special websites, etc. without paying remuneration additionally, but will respect the winners’ authorship right during the use process. 4. The winners should provide the original film or original digital documents of the awarded works and the organizing committee guarantees to send back to the author within one month after the album of pictures are finished with editing via mail. The participants refusing to provide such films or original digital documents shall be deemed as giving up the prize-wining qualification. 5. The participants shall enjoy their copyrights to the works, and assume their responsibility for the rights of portraiture concerning works. 6. In case that any third party proposes declaration or discontent concerning the rights of persons, buildings or any other matters reflected in the pictures, the participant shall undertake full responsibilities for the legal matters possibly incurred due to the picture. 7. The participant not in compliance with the rules of the competition or failing to meet the conditions in the table shall be deemed as unqualified participants, and the corresponding work shall not be sent back and cancelled with the winning qualification. (III). Requirements about the works in the competition: 1. The works in the competition shall be restricted to reflect natural sceneries, folklores, historic cultures, major tourism activities, spirits of domestic and overseas tourists in Luoping and pictures concerning tourism in Luoping. The works are required to agree with the competition theme with healthy content in compliance with national laws.
